We're sorry this item is sold.
Darling sweater - would be great with a pencil skirt or even paired, more modernly, with some straight leg jeans.
From a Chicago Suburban Estate of many lovely items.
This sweater has no tags of any sort, so I am not sure of the origin. Other knit items from this estate were made by a family member, so this may be the case with this one as well.
Features a wonderful flower design knit pattern. Knit in a nude color with a crew neck and short sleeves. The buttons are covered in the same yarn used to knit the sweater. There is a gathering at the waist which then leads to a mini-peplum.
I cannot verify material, but I wonder if it is silk.
Dimensions: Lying flat 14.5" shoulder seam to shoulder seam, approx. 17" armpit to armpit, 21" long, 14" waist.
Overall it is in good condition with no pilling or pulls. There is one small hole near a button but is not very visible. There are also some spots on the front. I am selling this item "as found" and am not laundering it. As each collector has their own methods for cleaning and laundering antique/vintage linens, I will leave that delicate task to the next owner.Additionally, price is reflective of these issues.
